This mount holds a Go Pro on the edge of something plastic that is roughly .125" thick. It has 2 hole on the U shape that hooks around whatever you're hanging the mount on. You can drill through the plastic you're hooking the mount onto with an .125" drill bit and then use 8-32 bolts to securely hold the mount from moving. The bolt for holding the Go Pro to the mount threads into a nut that is recessed into a hex shaped hole on the mount. I designed this to be used on the front number plate of a dirt bike. For that to be possible you have to cut a 1.25" square hole in the number plate. This was designed with a Go Pro Hero 8
